Adding a serving of avocado to your smoothies will add fibre, healthy fat (don't be scared of 'em - they're essential for your health), antioxidants and a mega dose of iron, potassium and copper. If that means nothing to you, don't worry - put simply, avocados are an amazing addition to your diet.
The only thing to consider, though, is that avocadoes are pretty hefty on the calorie front. It's best to eat them in halves or quarters at a time and bulk your smoothies up with a slightly less calorific fruit instead.

• 20g Nutribuddy Protein Powder
• ¼ avocado, stoned, peeled and cut into chunks
• 75g strawberries, halved
• 2 tbsp soya yoghurt
• 100ml oat milk
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
