And it totally makes sense. There’s no quicker or easier way to gain a mega-dose of nutrients, vitamins and natural goodness than a wholefood-packed, leafy green smoothie!
With that said, we thought it was high time to share Kelly’s favourite super green smoothie recipe with you. Speaking of her inspiration behind this zesty green creation, she said:

So, this super green smoothie recipe is a fabulous way to regularly boost your vitamin and antioxidant intake and follow that exact advice!
Not only will the vibrant, vivid green colour of this tangy treat cheer you up on a grey day, but because it’s literally teeming with nutritious whole foods, it’s sure to nourish you from the inside-out, perk up your immune system and help your body fight off chronic disease over the long-term. So, let’s get stuck into Kelly’s super zesty, mega tangy, ultra-green super smoothie recipe! Yum.
Kelly’s Super Green Smoothie
- 2 sticks of celery
- A handful of spinach
- 10 slices cucumber
- 1 small banana
- A handful of blueberries
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp flaxseeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder (or freshly grated, if you have it!)
- A sprinkling of black pepper
- 1 scoop Nutribuddy Shake Complete
- A generous squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice
- A dash of plant-based milk (Kelly used oat) or water
- Chop, wash and prep all your ingredients.
- Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth.
- Add more or less liquid depending on your preferred smoothie consistency. Use less for a thick and creamy shake or add water for a refreshing, juicy boost!
