Banana & Mango Protein Smoothie

This banana and mango protein smoothie is packed with vitamins, antioxidants and - obviously - protein. As well as being easy to make, this fruit combo is undeniably tasty and comes with some impressive health benefits. If we were to list them all, we'd be here all day, so we've picked a few of the best:

– Bananas are an amazing source of potassium, which just so happen to be one of the most vital electrolytes in the body, helping to regulate heart function and lower blood pressure.
- Mango is packed with polyphenols, which function as antioxidants which can decrease the risk of cancer, boost skin health and reduce the signs of aging.
- Bananas are probably the most filling fruit going, thanks to their high pectic (a type of solube fibre) content. That means a morning banana boost will help you avoid the dreaded mid-morning munchies!
- Mango is a great immunity-booster, with one cup providing 10% of your vitamin A (which fights off and prevents infections) requirements.

Banana & Mango Vegan Protein Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes | Makes: 1 | Vegan

INGREDIENTS

- 30g Nutribuddy Sculpting Protein
- 1 cup chopped mango
- 1 banana
- 300ml oat, soya or almond milk
- 4 ice cubes

METHOD

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth - it's that simple!
