So, if you're anything like us, a thick, creamy nut butter and banana milkshake is the thing of dreams. But (as much as it pains us to say so) it's not something you can have everyday - at least, if you're attempting to watch the calories like we are.
Thankfully, we've come up with a healthy alternative - a delicious vegan banana and hazelnut breakfast smoothie. No, it might not be quite as indulgent as an ice-cream-and-peanut-butter-packed dessert-style milkshake, but it still totally hits the spot. We've perfected the recipe to create a smoothie which is thick and creamy, packed with nutrition and far less calorific.
To put it simply, it tastes amazing and is good for you at the same time. Thank us later (right after your tummy is filled with nutty, banana goodness... 🍌).
So, let's jump right in!
Prep & cooking time: 5 minutes | Serves: 1 | Vegan
• 30g Nutribuddy Breakfast or Nutribuddy Complete powder
• 1 peeled & sliced banana
• 200ml unsweetened almond or oat milk
• 1 tbsp hazelnuts (cashews or unsalted peanuts would work, too!)
• 1 tsp agave or maple syrup to sweeten (optional)
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
