The idea of putting a smoothie in a bowl may sound pretty strange at first, but trust us - they’re super nutritious and totally Insta-worthy. Just look at them...

Not only are these smoothie bowls beautiful and vibrant (a food photographer's dream!), they are packed with vitamins and nutrients and are a fantastic way to make use of various fruits which you are unsure what to do with.

One of our favourite vegan bloggers, More than Greens (aka Sara), has been loving making Nutribuddy smoothie bowls. She's been generous enough to share some of her favourite smoothie bowl recipes with her followers on Instagram. Here are 4 of our favourites!

1. Sumptuous Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie Bowl Recipes with NutriBuddy Breakfast Shake

Ingredients

- 1 scoop Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake (any flavour)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons coconut yoghurt
- 1 small banana
- A handful of fresh strawberries
- Dried mixed fruit & seeds of your choice

Method

1. Using your blender, whizz the frozen strawberries, coconut yoghurt and Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake mix together until smooth.
2. Scoop the vibrant pink mixture into a bowl.
3. Place a line of chopped banana and strawberries and whole blueberries down the centre of the bowl, before drizzling seeds and dried fruit in the outer corners.

Ingredients

- 1 scoop Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake (any flavour)
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 scoop Super U Berry Blend Antioxidant Powder (optional)
- A splash of milk
- 1 small banana
- A handful of fresh blueberries and cranberries
- Dried mixed fruit & seeds of your choice

Method

1. Blend the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake mix, frozen berries, antioxidant powder and milk together using any blender.
2. Place the mixture in a bowl.
3. Let’s get topping! Start with a line of chopped banana. On one side, sprinkle your blueberries and cranberries. On the other, sprinkle a small handful of dried berries.

- A cup of frozen chopped banana, blueberries & strawberries
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- A splash of milk
- 1 small banana
- Seeds and dried fruit of your choice

Method

1. Mix together the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake mix, frozen bananas, blueberries & strawberries, coconut oil and milk in a blender.
2. Pop the mixture in a bowl.
3. Time for the fun part! Place down a line of chopped bananas and sprinkle the dried fruit & seeds on one side of the bowl. Sara also used some extra frozen berries as part of the topping, but that’s completely up to you!

Ingredients

- 1 cup frozen blueberries

- A splash of milk
- 1 small banana
- A handful of fresh blueberries and dates
- Seeds of your choice

Method

1. Blend together the Nutribuddy Breakfast Shake mix, frozen blueberries, coconut oil and milk until smooth.
2. Put the mixture in a bowl.
3. Place down a line of fresh blueberries down the centre of the bowl. One one side, sprinkle the seeds until the smoothie has a thin covering and pop a few dates on top.
